Who is responsible

Jod Alef, an individual trading as JodDev, based in Piatã, Bahia, Brazil, with the contact details shown above.

For anything concerning personal data, including the rights described below, write to contato@joddev.com. The data protection officer is the controller himself.

What data is processed

The site has no sign-up and no logged-in area. Personal data is only processed when you choose to send a message or book a call:

  • Contact form: name, email and — if you fill them in — phone, company or institution, role and the message itself.
  • Call booking: the same fields, plus the time zone and language you select, needed to book the correct slot and write to you in the right language.
  • Technical records: IP address and browser identification, stored alongside the submission to contain automated abuse of a public form.

Purpose and legal basis

The data is used solely to answer your enquiry and hold the conversation you asked for. There is no profiling, no sale of data and no marketing email.

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (GDPR, art. 6(1)(b); LGPD, art. 7, V). For the technical anti-abuse records, the basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the service available (GDPR, art. 6(1)(f); LGPD, art. 7, IX).

How long it is kept

Contact messages and calls that already took place are deleted automatically 24 months after they are recorded. Deletion runs as a daily job — it does not depend on a request, nor on anyone remembering.

A call that has not happened yet is never deleted, however long ago it was booked.

Who it is shared with

Confirmation and reminder emails are delivered by Brevo, a company established in France, acting as a processor and handling the data only to deliver those messages.

Beyond that, nothing is shared. There is no transfer outside the European Union for email; the remaining processing happens on a self-operated server in Brazil.

Audience measurement

Traffic is measured by a self-hosted Umami instance running on the same server. It sets no cookies, stores no IP address and creates no persistent visitor identifier — the reading is aggregate, and no data leaves for any third party.

If you would rather not be counted, any script blocker will do; the site works normally without the measurement.

Cookies

This site uses no tracking, advertising or third-party cookies. There is also no consent banner, because there is no processing that would require consent.

Your rights

You may exercise, at any time, the rights granted by the GDPR (arts. 15 to 22) and the LGPD (art. 18):

  • Confirm whether processing takes place and obtain access to the data;
  • Rectify incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
  • Request erasure before the 24-month period ends;
  • Request data portability;
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • Withdraw consent, where processing relies on it.

How to exercise them

Write to contato@joddev.com. Requests are answered within 15 days. You do not need to justify a deletion request.

If you believe the processing is unlawful, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority in the European Union, or with the ANPD in Brazil.

Security

The site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The database sits on a self-operated server with no public access, and the form is rate-limited per origin to contain automated use.

Changes

Changes to this policy take effect on the publication date shown at the top. Material changes to the processing will be communicated to anyone with an ongoing conversation.
