Where I test what I ship
I started in 1994 fixing hardware and never left the machine behind. Today I'm CTO at Techviz, where I designed and built the whole AI infrastructure now in production — speech transcription with speaker diarization, multi-source NLP pipelines and the analytics products on top of them. What I actually do is own the whole stack, so I can put the privacy boundary exactly where a project needs it: the sensitive workloads run self-hosted on the client's own hardware, nothing leaving it; the rest uses whatever cloud model is best for the job. Most engineers only know one side of that line — I build both, from GPU metal to product UI, and knowing where it should sit is the value. I run my own baremetal GPU server from Chapada Diamantina, Brazil, and work with clients in Europe and North America.
